This fun and witty show about princesses flipping the script is powered by Britney Spears’ greatest hits.Gather round and hear the story of all your favorite princesses: Cinderella and co have set up a book club, but they always read the same book! Grimm’s Fairytales might be full of astonishing fantasy, romance and happily ever afters, but they’re about to have their whole world shaken up when a fairy godmother drops The Feminist Mystique right onto their petticoat-laden laps.
This hilarious revisionist fairytale makes all of the girls feel “stronger than yesterday”, as their feminist education gets underway to the sounds of the ultimate Princess of Pop, Britney Spears.
The Once Upon a One More Time musical is directed by Keone and Mari Madrid, who have their own experience mixing pop and fairytale with Disney’s short film Us Again and music videos for Kendrick Lamar, Billie Eilish.
