Prima Facie on Broadway Tickets
Killing Eve star Jodie Comer delivers a tour-de-force performance in this gripping one-woman play, hot off an award-winning West End season.
Jodie Comer stars in a gripping thriller
Fresh from its sell-out season in London’s West End, taut legal thriller Prima Facie transfers to the Golden Theatre, starring Emmy Award Jodie Comer as a young barrister who is blindsided by the realities of patriarchy, power and law.Tessa is an exceptional barrister who has risen through the ranks of her profession, eschewing the odds of a working-class woman. She has a brilliant eye for detail, and constantly cross-examines her way to courtroom victories. But when a shocking and unexpected event turns her life upside down, Tessa is forced to reconsider how the letter of the law, the burden of proof, and her own moral compass can co-exist.
BAFTA and Emmy Award-winner Jodie Comer makes her Broadway debut. Best known for playing Villanelle in Killing Eve, her astounding performance in the world premiere of Prima Facie won the Olivier Award for Best Actress.
Playwright Suzie Miller is a former lawyer and applies her experience of the profession to a nuanced, challenging and compulsively watchable story, directed by Justin Martin.
