What is the play The Disappear about?
Lights, cameras, chaos. Power‑couple Benjamin Braxton and Mira Blair appear to have it all - until their picture‑perfect life goes gloriously off script, dragging their friends, flings and daughter into the spiral. Written and directed by Erica Schmidt, The Disappear peels back the curtain on fame, ambition, marriage and reinvention, in a sizzling comedy about how keeping it together sometimes means letting it all go.
This production marks the world premiere of this brand new play. This is Schmidt’s second play with Audible’s Minetta Lane Theatre, following 2023's Lucy. As part of the season at the Minetta Lane Theatre, like all Audible productions, The Disappear will also be recorded and later released as an audio drama.
