Hollywood star Steve Carrell takes his first bow on Broadway in the lead role of Uncle Vanya. Carrell is best known for his comedic roles in The Office and The 40-Year-Old Virgin, but has proven his dramatic talents are just as sharp in the Academy Award-nominated Foxcatcher and Battle of the Sexes.Carrell is joined by Tony nominee Alison Pill (Three Tall Women) as Sonya, Emmy nominee William Jackson Harper (The Good Place) as Astrov, Tony Award winner Jayne Houdyshell as Mama Voinitski, Mia Katigbak as Marina, Tony Award nominee Alfred Molina (Art, Red) as Alexander Serabryakov, and Tony Award winner Anika Noni Rose (Caroline, Or Change) as Yelena.

An excellent ride with outstanding performances from the full cast. Steve Carell is incredible and makes the absolute most of every second he is on stage. Highly recommend!!

A little tepid and unfocused. Excellent talent on stage, and it was a thrill to see some of these wonderful actors give stage performances, but the direction was poor and indulgent. Lots of director sauce.
