Venue overview

The Ambassadors Theatre is one of the West End's smallest theatres, with a capacity of 446 across two levels. It was built alongside its sister theatre, St. Martin's, by architect W.G.R. Sprague, and is primarily the host of small-scale plays as well as the long-time host of Stomp from 2007-2018.

Due to the intimacy of the auditorium, even the back row of the Circle offers a great view. The Circle overhang encroaches on the Stalls, meaning the back rows of the Stalls are restricted view.

Good value seats

The best bargains can be found in the last four rows of the Circle from H to L. These seats are often heavily discounted but still have a great view and good legroom.

Premium seats

Premium seats are in the front two rows of the Circle, but you can get an equally great view in the Stalls. Try to sit centrally between seats 6-12 in rows D-G.

The seat is comfortable but the leg room is minimal - at 5’ 3” I found it bearable but restricting. Row D in the circle feels much nearer than suggests & the view is excellent due to the overhang which starts in stalls Row M. More

With the large mid circle walkway in front of this row, you have masses of leg rooms and easy access in and out of the auditorium before, after and during the interval. Comfortable seating with a wall behind you if you want to lean back. A great undisturbed... More
