Getting into the Venue
The Arts Theatre main entrance is located on Great Newport Street and can be accessed via a slight ramp through double doors. On entering the main entrance, the Box Office is straight ahead.An alternative entrance to the Circle seating is available to the left of the main entrance, through double fire exit doors. A slightly sloped corridor leads to the back of the Circle, where accessible seating is available.
All sections must be accessed by stairs, which are highlighted and have handrails on either side.
Customer Assistance
Staff are on hand to assist with navigation and must be notified if at-seat service is required for those who cannot access the bar.Transfer seats are available to aisle seats in the rear of the Circle. It is recommended that a companion is brought.
How to Book
For those who need assistance or wish to book wheelchair spaces and transfer seats, it is important to book well in advance and notify the theatre of any special requirements. Section Accessibility
Stalls
The Stalls can be accessed via 19 steps down from the foyer, situated to the right of the Box Office. Handrails are in place either side of the staircase.
Extra legroom can be found in seats A1 & 14, B1 & 16-17, C1 & 18 and H1 & 16.
Circle
The Circle can be accessed via 5 steps up from the foyer, situated to the left of the Box Office. Handrails are in place either side of the staircase. Alternatively, the Circle can be accessed via a sloped corridor that leads to the rear of the seating.
Transfers are available for either 2 wheelchair users or 1 scooter user, to an aisle seat in the rear of the Circle. There is 1 wheelchair/scooter seat available in Row F of the Circle.
Extra legroom can be found in seats B1 and B16.
