Getting into the Venue
The Duke of York’s Theatre main entrance is situated on St Martin’s Lane and is step-free from street to foyer. The Box Office can be found in the foyer, alongside a cloakroom and accessible toilet. There is level access into the Royal Circle, in which there are 2 wheelchair spaces as well as transfers available. A drop-off point is adjacent to the entrance on St Martin’s Lane.All sections of the theatre are signposted, including bars and toilets. Other levels of the auditorium, as well as bars, must be reached by stairs as there is no customer lift available.
Customer Assistance
There is step-free access into the theatre, with front-of-house staff to assist with navigation. Transfers are available in the Royal Circle and staff are able to store wheelchairs either in the cloakroom or foyer for the duration of the performance.Staff are able to assist with transfers, but it is advised that a companion is brought. An at-seat service is available, but the Duty Manager must be notified if this is required.

The Stalls can be accessed via 23 steps down from the theatre foyer. There is no central aisle in the Stalls and this section is not recommended for those with limited mobility.

On Stage Seating
Royal Circle
The Royal Circle is the most accessible section of the theatre, with level access from the foyer to Row C of the auditorium. There are 2 wheelchair spaces located at either end of Row C and transfers available at either end of Row D. There is no central aisle in this section.

Upper Circle
The Upper Circle can be reached via 23 steps up from the theatre foyer, with no central aisle.
