Charing Cross Station is within a 10 minute walk from the Duke of York’s Theatre. On exiting the station, cross The Strand and turn left onto Duncannon Street. Walk to the end, then turn right onto Charing Cross Road. When the National Portrait Gallery entrance is on your left, turn right on William IV Street. Take the first left into St Martin’s Lane. The theatre is a few buildings up, on the left-hand side.Tube
Leicester Square tube station is approximately 5 minutes away from the Duke of York’s Theatre, and is served by the Northern and Piccadilly Lines. Upon exiting the station on Charing Cross Road, turn left and walk past Wyndham's Theatre. Turn left into St Martin’s Court and walk to the end of the road. Turn right onto St Martin’s Lane, cross Cecil Court and keep walking. The theatre will be on your right just ahead.Covent Garden is also a short walk away, served by the Piccadilly line, and Charing Cross station, which has the Northern and Bakerloo line service.

St Martin’s Place (Stop K) is a few minutes from the Duke of York’s Theatre. Bus routes 24, 29 and 176 stop here. Bus routes 3, 6, 9, 11, 12, 23, 53, 87, 88, 91, 139, 159 and 453 all run through Trafalgar Square.Car
The Q-Park Chinatown and Trafalgar Square car parks are about 10 minutes away from the theatre. Theatregoers are eligible for a 50% discount on their Q-Park costs through the Theatreland scheme. Three hours of parking costs £22.00, and 4 hours is £29.50 before the discount is applied.Central London’s Congestion Charge Zone applies to the Duke of York’s Theatre. Driving in this area incurs a daily cost of £11.50 between 7am and 6pm. Taxis are permitted to drop off outside the theatre on St Martin’s Lane.
