Ebony Scrooge, fashion mogul and heartless boss, has cancelled Christmas as she prepares for a huge fashion show. But a visit from three mysterious ghosts may just change her mind and heart, with a journey through her Caribbean roots…
What Is Dance Show Ebony Scrooge About?
Ebony Scrooge is the genius mind behind a renowned fashion brand. Out of touch and surrounded by style, success and plenty of wealth, Ebony is also a nightmare boss. As her landmark fashion show, featuring all monochrome designs, approaches, Ebony has cancelled Christmas for all of her employees to prepare. But Ebony is soon to have a rude awakening, as three mystical visitors take her on a journey of self-discovery and self-awareness. As the visitors help her reconnect with her Caribbean heritage, will Ebony finally discover the true meaning of happiness and bring some colour back into her life?
A blend of hip-hop dance, comedy, and physical theatre, this fresh take on Dickens’s classic festive tale features original music and plenty of holiday spirit.
