What Is High School Musical About?
High School Musical tells the story of a popular basketball star and an academically gifted student whose lives unexpectedly intertwine after meeting on a ski trip. Back at East High School, the unlikely pair reunite and decide to use their love for singing to audition for the annual school musical. However, Troy is supposed to be focused on his basketball, whilst Gabriella has commitments to her studies. Add in the drama club leads, Sharpay Evans and her brother Ryan, who try to sabotage the duo to sustain the spotlight for themselves, will Troy and Gabriella be able to break free from who everyone around them expects them to be?
The musical features all the hit songs from the original movie, including “Breaking Free”, “We’re All in This Together”, and “Stick to the Status Quo”!
