Inter Alia in London

From the award-winning team behind Prima Facie comes bold new play Inter Alia, transferring to Wyndham’s Theatre, in the heart of Leicester Square, this spring, following a smash hit run at the National Theatre in 2024. A blistering exploration of motherhood, modern masculinity, and the justice stystem, Inter Alia stars Saltburn and Gone Girl starRosamund Pike. This production is “simply superb” (Financial Times). Inter Alia transfers to the West End for a strictly limited run, so be sure to grab tickets before they’re gone, girl!

What is the play Inter Alia about?

inter alia (in-tur eh-lee-ah) prep. Latin, meaning "among other things."

London Crown Court Judge Jessica Parks is top of her game - considered by some to be a maverick, Jessica challenges and changes the judicial system with each case. At home too, she seems to have it made - feminist, friend and karaoke fiend, Jessica is a loving wife and a supportive parent and balances the juggling act between working mum and eminent judge with ease. But when an earth-shattering event throws this balance off course, Jessica must reconcile her beliefs, and fight to keep her family together.

Inspired by her previous work as a lawyer, playwright Suzie Miller’s plays often centre around social justice and the legal system, including the award-winning, one-woman play Prima Facie. Prima Facie debuted in Miller’s native Australia in 2019 and later transferred to the West End and Broadway, starring Jodie Whittaker, where it sold out both runs and earned critical acclaim, winning two Olivier Awards and a Tony Award. Inter Alia debuted at the National Theatre in September 2025 to critical acclaim, and now trasnfers to the West End in Mach 2026.

Cast and Creative Team: Rosamund Pike in Inter Alia

Emmy and Golden Globe winner and BAFTA and Academy Award Nominee Rosamund Pike leads the cast as Jessica Parks. Pike is a former Bond Girl and is best known for her roles in Pride and Prejudice, Saltburn, The Wheel of Time, and as the unhinged Amy Dunne in Gone Girl. The National Theatre premiere of Inter Alia marked Pike’s first time treading the boards in over 15 years; previous stage credits include Gas Light at the Old Vic and Tennessee Williams’s Summer and Smoke at the Apollo Theatre.

Joining Pike is Jamie Glover (Noises Off, Waterloo Road) as Jessica’s husband Andrew Parks, reprising his role from the National Theatre run.

Casting for the role of Harry, Jessica’s son, is to be announced. Harry was played by Jasper Talbot (Broadchurch, Redlands), in the original production.

Inter Alia is written by playwright Suzie Miller (Prima Facie, The Mathematics of Longing, Jailbaby) and directed by Justin Miller (Prima Facie, Stranger Things: The First Shadow, Kyoto).

The award-winning creative team also includes set and costume design by Miriam Buether (The Jungle), lighting design by Natasha Chivers (Sylvia), sound design by Ben and Max Ringham (A Dolls House), and video design by Willie Williams (We Will Rock You) for Treatment Studio.
