The Lyceum Theatre is one of the West End’s most well-known theatres. Positioned at the end of The Strand, the venue is moments away from the popular tourist attraction of Covent Garden and the River Thames. Nearby, Somerset House contains public spaces, art exhibitions, restaurants and cafes. There are plenty of opportunities for shopping, eating and drinking all within a 10 minute walk of the theatre, and Trafalgar Square is also close. Approximately a 10 minute walk away, Charing Cross Station provides easy access. From the station entrance, cross the road and turn right onto The Strand. Pass the Adelphi Theatre and Savoy Theatre until you reach Wellington Street. Turn left and the theatre is on your left.Alternatively, Waterloo Station is about a 15-20 minute walk away, over Waterloo Bridge.
Tube
The Lyceum Theatre is approximately a 7 minute walk from Covent Garden tube station, served by the Piccadilly line. To reach the theatre, turn right out of the station and into Covent Garden shopping district. Turn left and continue until you reach the second left. Continue down the road, turn right and the Lyceum Theatre should be just ahead.The theatre is also easily reachable from Temple, Holborn and Charing Cross tube stations.
Bus
Several bus routes stop near the Lyceum Theatre, including: 1, 4, 11, 15, 23, 26, 59, 68, 76, 171, 172, 176, 188 and RV1. All buses stop at various points on Aldwych, The Strand and Kingsway, only a 5 minute walk from the theatre.Car
Chinatown and Trafalgar Square Q-Park car parks are near to the Lyceum Theatre, which participates in the Q-Park Theatreland discount scheme. Theatre patrons receive 50% off fees when parking tickets are validated by theatre staff. Regular prices are £22 for up to 3 hours, and £29.50 for 4 hours.The London Congestion Charge Zone covers the theatre, costing £11.50 between 7am and 6pm. Drop-offs are permitted at the end of Wellington Street outside of the fire access area, a few metres from the theatre’s entrance.
