Dress Circle Guide
The Dress Circle offers the best overall views of the stage, particularly for Les Miserables, and can be better value for money than the Stalls. This section is one block of seating, so those who want extra legroom should aim for seats on the ends of the rows.
Views at the ends of rows are not as good due to the curve of the theatre. Dress Circle Loge seats run as slips down the side of the auditorium and are restricted view, due to the side angle. However these can be great bargains! To avoid the overhang of the Upper Circle, aim to sit as close to the front as possible to get full value for money.
A number of seats towards the front sides of the Dress Circle are labelled restricted view, but are a good way to see the show at a discounted rate. An advantage of sitting further back in the Dress Circle is that the larger ensemble scenes are easier to view, although the distance loses some of the detail.
Bars
The Foyer Bar and Dress Circle Bar serve this section. These areas are not wheelchair accessible and staff are able to bring refreshments into the auditorium on behalf of patrons who are unable to access the bars.
Toilets
Men’s and Women’s toilets are available in the Dress Circle. An adapted unisex toilet with a Radar lock is available in the foyer via a ramped corridor. Patrons who wish to use this toilet must ask Front of House staff for a key.
