What is the Shakespeare play Twelfth Night about?

“If music be the food of love, play on”

Noblewoman Viola is caught in a storm and shipwrecked on the island of Illyria. Believing herself to be the only survivor and mourning for her lost twin brother, Sebastian, and her crew, Viola disguises herself as a serving boy, Cesario. “Cesario” is employed by the household of love-sick duke, Orsino, and Viola quickly develops feelings for him. But when Orsino sends Viola to woo the Countess Olivia on his behalf, the lady immediately falls for “Cesario”. Caught in a love triangle where everyone has something to hide, Viola must navigate the chaos of loss, longing and unexpected love.
