New World Stages - Stage 5 is a small Off-Broadway theatre with all seats feeling close to the stage. Sightlines are largely good, although side seats in the Mezzanine are sold as partial view because of the angle and safety railings. Shorter theatregoers sometimes report that Orchestra Rows A-G have a slightly shallow rake, which could impact the view if a tall person sits in front of you.
Orchestra Row J offers some of the best value seats in the house. Despite being the back row, it has impressive views over heads in front thanks to being one of two stepped rows (along with Row H in front). The cheap tickets in the Mezzanine can also be good for anyone on a budget, but if you book a partial view seat, try to choose one further from the stage so you the angle isn't as extreme.
The best seats are in Orchestra Row C, which is a brilliant choice for the venue’s current production, Jamie Allan’s Amaze Magic Show. From here, you’ll be close enough to gasp at the details of each trick up close - and maybe try to work out how they’re done! Seats a couple of rows behind are also excellent for getting a perfect view of the full stage and all of the illusions.
