Hugh Jackman stars as Jon, opposite Ella Beatty as Annie.

Jackman’s accolades include a Primetime Emmy Award, a Golden Globe, Grammy, and two Tony Awards as well as nominations for an Academy Award, a BAFTA, two SAG Awards, and a Olivier Award. In 2012 Jackman received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame and in 2019 he earned the Companion of the Order of Australia. His credits include The Boy from Oz, a record-breaking Broadway run in The Music Man, and iconic film roles in The Greatest Showman, Les Misérables, and as Wolverine in the X-Men series.

The daughter of Annette Bening and Warren Beatty, Ella Beatty is a rising star, best known for her roles in Feud: Capote vs. The Swans, If I Had Legs I'd Kick You and on Broadway in Appropriate by Pulitzer Prize-winning playwright Brandon Jacobs-Jenkins.

Sexual Misconduct of the Middle Classes is written by award-winning playwright and screenwriter Hannah Moscovitch. One of Canada’s most celebrated young playwrights, her credits include Interview with the Vampire for AMC, This Is War and Old Stock: A Refugee Love Story.

British director Ian Rickson directs this production in rep with Creditors, also at the Minetta Lane Theatre. Rickson is the former Artistic Director of London’s Royal Court Theatre, where he premiered groundbreaking works including Jerusalem and The Weir. His directing credits span the West End and Broadway, with his credits including acclaimed productions of Hamlet starring Michael Sheen, Uncle Vanya featuring Toby Jones, and The Seagull with Kristin Scott Thomas.
