In 1913, the women’s rights movement started to make waves in America, driven by the suffragists. They called themselves Suffs for short, and they had one goal in mind: the right to vote. Nothing was off-limits and they were ready to face-off with anyone who got in their way: the president, the public, and even each other. In 1920, they succeeded and the Nineteenth Amendment was passed.

Bridging generational, racial and class divides, these powerful and flawed women come together to tell the story of their hard-won fight. They might have argued about how to get things done, but their legacy is strong over a century later - and sometimes, we have to look back to find a way forward.
