About The Last Five Years

Set in New York City, The Last Five Years follows up-and-coming author Jamie (Nick Jonas) and aspiring actress Cathy (Adrienne Warren) as they navigate their careers and fall in and out of love over five years. With Jamie telling their story chronologically and Cathy telling it in retrograde, you get to see both sides as they recount the downfall of their relationship.

Nick Jonas stars as Jamie in this highly anticipated production. Jonas has had an illustrious career, being one-third of one of the most well-known bands to emerge from the Disney Channel. The group has dominated the music charts since their return in 2019 with their album Happiness Begins, sold out their world tour, and received a Grammy nomination for Best Pop Duo/Group Performance. During the band's break, Nick's solo career flourished, with his 2014 self-titled album yielding the triple-platinum “Jealous,” double-platinum “Chains,” and gold-certified “Levels.”

Before pursuing a music career with his brothers, Nick was a child actor on Broadway, making appearances in productions like Annie Get Your Gun in 2001, Les Misérables, and Beauty and the Beast. He returned to Broadway in 2012 to take over for Daniel Radcliffe in How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying. His role in The Last Five Years marks his first starring role since then.

Adrienne Warren, starring as Cathy, is the epitome of a triple threat. Her talent as a singer, dancer, and actress is impeccable and has established her reputation in musical theatre. Best known for her role as Tina Turner in Tina: The Musical, she has garnered a Tony Award as well as Drama Desk, Antonyo, and Outer Critics Circle Awards for her iconic performance.
