About The Notebook

In 1940s North Carolina, two young lovers are reuniting after World War Two. Mill laboror Noah and rich heiress Allie shared a passionate romance years earlier, but it was marred by her parents’ disapproval. Now free to meet again, Noah realizes that he is too late: Allie is engaged to another man, and is about to be married. But is their romance really over? Or will they have another chance at love?

The Notebook musical is co-directed by Michael Greif (Dear Evan Hansen, Next to Normal) and Schele Williams (Aida, The Wiz), with music & lyrics by Emmy Award nominee Ingris Michaelson, who previously contributed “Build It Up” to Hulu’s Little Fires Everywhere.

The creative team also includes playwright Bekah Brunstetter (NBC’s This Is Us) and choreographer Katie Spelman.
