Getting into the Venue
The Adelphi Theatre main entrance leads to the foyer and is one 15cm step up from street level, but can also be accessed by a ramp if requested.Access from the foyer to the Stalls is step-free. There are no customer lifts to the Dress Circle and Upper Circle, which must both be accessed by stairs. Staircases have handrails on both sides.
Customer Assistance
Customers who require assistance must contact the Theatre Manager on arrival, or otherwise notify a member of the Front of House staff. Up to 4 wheelchair/scooter users can transfer into aisle seats in the Stalls. Those who wish to transfer must bring a companion to assist them.A maximum of 4 wheelchairs can be stored in the cloakroom. An at-seat service is available for access patrons.
How to Book
Access patrons must contact the Adelphi Theatre via the customer services line to book wheelchair spaces. If you are a wheelchair user and would prefer to transfer into an aisle seat, it is important to contact the Adelphi prior to your visit in order to notify staff and check availability. Section Accessibility
Stalls
There is level access from the foyer to the Stalls. There are 2 wheelchair spaces located at the rear of the Stalls in Row X, which allow a companion to be seated at the side. There is provision for 4 wheelchair/scooter transfers to any aisle seat within the Stalls.
Extra legroom can be found throughout the Stalls. Seats A7-9, A28-30, BB10, 11, 25-26 and C31 offer the most legroom.
Dress Circle
There are 41 steps up to the Dress Circle. This section must be accessed by steps, as there is no customer lift. It is advised that those with limited mobility book Stall seats. Handrails are in place on the staircases.
Upper Circle
There are 79 steps up to the Upper Circle from the foyer and no customer lift. This section is not recommended for those with limited mobility.
