The Old Vic Theatre is located on The Cut, near to South Bank, which hosts many other theatre spaces and amenities. The River Thames is a 10 minute walk from the theatre, providing lovely walks and good views of Central London. On The Cut and Lower Marsh, there are many restaurants, cafes, pubs and bars. Waterloo Station is about 5 minutes away from The Old Vic Theatre. Exit the station via the side entrance onto Waterloo Road. Turn right and walk towards the Baylis Road junction. The theatre is on the corner, diagonally across from here.The venue is also reachable from London Bridge, which is approximately a 20 minute walk.

Waterloo Station is 5 minutes from the theatre, serving the Northern, Jubilee, Bakerloo and Waterloo & City. From the Underground, exit to Waterloo Road, turn right and head toward the junction with The Cut and Baylis Road. The Old Vic Theatre is on the diagonal from here.Alternatively, Southwark station is around 5 minutes from theatre.

The closest car parks to the theatre are located near to the National Theatre and the Southbank Centre including Queen Elizabeth Hall, both within a 10 minute walk, with varying costs.The theatre lies within London’s Congestion Charge Zone, costing £11.50 between 7am and 6pm. Travel outside these times is free of charge. Taxis and drivers may drop off theatre patrons outside the theatre on The Cut, or on Waterloo Road.
