Old Vic Theatre Seat Guide

The Old Vic Theatre London has a capacity of 1572 seats. Section capacities are 399 Stage Stalls, 600 Stalls, 232 Dress Circle and 269 Lilian Baylis Circle. Use our interactive seating plan to view 3286 seat reviews and 0 view from seat photos.

The shape of the stage can be extended, and the auditorium is built in a semi-circle that offers a variety of views. Prices differ depending on where you choose to sit.

Good value seats

Sit in the back two "restricted view" rows of the Stalls for an exceptionally clear view of the stage without obstruction. The only downside is that the stage is slightly far away, but there is plenty of legroom! Otherwise, sit in the Lilian Baylis Circle for some potential bargains.

Premium seats

Sit in the mid-front of the Stalls for the best overall view of the stage and a guarantee of no restrictions. The best rows are E-L, sitting as centrally as possible. Alternatively, sit in rows A-D of the Dress Circle for a great panoramic view of the stage.
