Accessible Seats Without Photos
SeatPlan is on a mission to get a photo from every seat to help more theatregoers enjoy theatre! We reward our users with more points for seats that need photos the most.
Getting into the Venue
The Playhouse Theatre foyer is situated on Northumberland Avenue and is 3 steps above street level, through double doors. Alternatively, a temporary ramp is available for wheelchair users to enter the building.
The Stalls are step-free from foyer to seating. All other sections of the theatre must be reached by stairs as there is no customer lift.
Customer Assistance
Staff are on hand to assist with navigation throughout the theatre and to help with the temporary ramp. All doors at the theatre are constantly manned, should assistance into the Stalls be required.
Transfers are available into aisle seats in the Stalls and all wheelchair users are advised to bring a companion. Staff can store wheelchairs at the rear of the Stalls for the duration of the performance. An at-seat service is available.
How to Book
For those who require special assistance or wish to book wheelchair spaces, it is important to book in advance and notify the theatre of any special requirements. Access patrons and their companions will receive significant discounts for performances.
