It’s the night before the Oscars, and Australian acting legend, Academy Award winner and Hollywood Scrooge Cate Blanchett is visited by three spirits… all of whom are Nicole Kidman. As Kidman and Blanchett embark on a journey through time, from Cate’s past in the Aussie outback, to a Tinseltown on the brink of disaster in the Dickensian present, all the way through to a horrifying future, Cate must try to learn the true meaning of Awards Season. Will Cate save her soul and take Nicole’s message to heart? The very fate of Hollywood, cinema and the world as we know it might just be at stake if she doesn't…
This hilarious, chaotic comedy play is a Christmas Carol as you’ve never seen it before, and parodies Blanchett and Kidman’s iconic hit movies in an acerbic fever dream about how achieving your dreams might actually be more of a nightmare.
