The musical features a book by Tony Award-winner Terrence McNally. His extensive credits include Kiss of the Spider Woman and Ragtime; he was inducted into the Theatre Hall of Fame in 1996. Multi-award-winning collaborators Stephen Flaherty and Lynn Ahrens (Ragtime, Once on This Island) provide the score, having previously worked on the 1997 film. The creative team also features director Darko Tresnjak (A Gentleman’s Guide to Love and Murder, The Killer) and choreographer Peggy Hickey.

Great show with wonderful cast. Vicki Lewis stoled the show whenever she was on the stage. Wonderful costumes, stage sets and great tricks with the lighting to make it feel like the entire theater was part of a ballroom.
