Disney’s Frozen is brought to life onstage by Michael Grandage in a magical new production. A timeless story about sisterhood and self-belief set to some of Disney’s best-loved songs, prepare to have your heart melted at the St. James Theatre.

Michael Grandage’s new production of Disney’s Frozen has fast become a family favorite on Broadway thanks to its timeless story of sisterhood and magic. With spectacular set design and puppetry bringing the wintry world of Arendelle to life, this musical adaptation of a modern classic marks another triumph in Disney’s stage catalogue. Nominated for three Tony Awards including Best Musical, Frozen currently plays at the St. James Theatre.

Based on the wildly popular 2013 animated movie, Disney’s Frozen follows Princess Elsa and Princess Anna, sisters who are pushed apart by a mysterious secret. When their parents die and the newly crowned Queen Elsa’s power to turn objects into ice spirals dangerously out of control, she flees her home and isolates herself in a stunning winter fortress. But the bonds of family are stronger than any magic, and Anna embarks on an epic journey to bring her sister home.

Ciara Renée plays Elsa, with credits including the Witch in Big Fish and the Leading Player in Pippin. Co-star McKenzie Kurtz makes her Broadway debut as Anna.

Disney’s Frozen features a book by Jennifer Lee, who wrote the movie's original screenplay. Husband and wife team Robert Lopez and Kristen Anderson-Lopez bring their breath-taking score to the stage, with some thrilling new additions alongside firm favorites including the Academy Award-winning “Let It Go”.

The musical is directed by Michael Grandage, whose towering career spans time as Artistic Director at London’s Donmar Warehouse and a Tony Award for Red in 2010. Michael Curry’s incredible puppet design and Rob Ashford’s effortless choreography bring the beloved characters and songs to life.

A timeless story about sisterhood and finding your voice, Frozen at the St. James Theatre is a Disney success certain to melt even the iciest of hearts.
