What Is the Play La Distance About?
It’s the year 2077, and humanity has been pushed to its limits. As the population struggle to survive on a failing Earth, a daughter chooses to exile herself to Mars, leaving her father behind to navigate the challenges of loss, love and maintaining a connection across an untraversable distance.
Performed on a stunning rotating stage, this bold, timely and emotionally resonant piece of theatre explores how we maintain relationships, and what we owe to one another when the world around us is irreparably changed.
The History of La Distance
