Lucille Lortel Theatre Seat Guide

The Lucille Lortel Theatre New York has a capacity of 295 seats. Use our interactive seating chart to view 131 seat reviews and 130 view from seat photos.

The Lucille Lortel Theatre is a small and intimate venue, in keeping with its Off-Broadway status. Seating is split between the larger Orchestra and the smaller Mezzanine upstairs. The Orchestra has thirteen rows (A-N) divided into Left, Right and Center, and the Mezzanine has four rows, A-D.

The size of the theater means that the view from seat is generally good wherever you choose to sit. Be aware that the rake in the Orchestra is quite flat so shorter theatergoers might find the view from the back rows variable depending on who is sat in front.

Good Value Seats

Cheap tickets at the Lortel Theatre are located in the back two rows of the Mezzanine and the rear and sides of Orchestra Left and Right. The best value seats are in Orchestra rows E-G, on the Left and Right. These seats are close to the stage without the premium price tag and offer very good views.

Premium Seats

The best views at the Lucille Lortel Theatre are in the Center Orchestra, rows B-D. The stage is not too high so sitting close guarantees a fantastic view of the action from a comfortable position. These seats are especially good for plays, where fine details and nuanced acting add to the experience.
