New World Stages - Stage 4 is a mid-size Off-Broadway venue with stadium-style seating and excellent sightlines throughout. Legroom is generally decent, although some theatergoers report the front rows are a bit cramped. Sitting a bit further back is ideal for a physical comedy like The Play That Goes Wrong, where lots of action happens simultaneously across the stage.

Venue Overview

If you don’t mind missing some jokes and action at the side of the stage closest to you, restricted-view cheap tickets at the ends of Rows A-D are some of the best value for The Play That Goes Wrong. Other seats from Rows H backwards tend to be a similar blanket price, so we recommend choosing the centre of the back rows over a side-on view for the same price.

For The Play That Goes Wrong, the best seats are in the center of the Orchestra, from Rows D-G. These seats are far enough from the stage to see everything at once - very important for the fast-paced, slapstick nature of this show - but still close enough to catch some of the smaller gags and facial expressions. Legroom can be a bit tight, so choose a Center Orchestra aisle seat for extra comfort.
