What Is Paranormal Activity About?
A newly married couple, Jamie and Lou, jump at the opportunity to move from Chicago to London for a fresh start. Hoping to escape their past, the couple is eager to enjoy whatever this city has to offer them. But after settling into their new home, Lou becomes convinced that something sinister is present in the house. The couple will soon unearth that houses aren’t haunted - people are, and the past might not be as easy to leave behind as they had hoped…
This production combines innovative stagecraft by magician and illusionist Christ Fisher with psychological horror to present a "truly terrifying experience” (The Stage).
The History of Paranormal Activity
Paranormal Activity made its stage debut in the UK at the Leeds Playhouse in 2024. It received mammoth praise, and a subsequent short tour of US cities took place before it transferred to London’s West End at the tail end of 2025. It played at the Ambassadors Theatre for two seasons before unveiling its plans to haunt Broadway this summer for a limited time at the August Wilson Theatre.
