The Shubert Theatre is a mid-to-large size Broadway house with seating split across the ground-floor Orchestra and Mezzanine and Balcony above. Views are generally very good in the Orchestra, although the Mezzanine overhang is distracting in the back rows and seats on the far aisle are more restricted. There are some excellent, wide views in the Mezzanine, especially in seats placed more centrally above the stage. The Balcony is mixed; back and to the sides, this section’s steep rake, distance and structural support poles affect sight lines.
For theatergoers with a set budget, there are a few options for good value seats at the Shubert Theatre. In the Center Orchestra, rows L-N are still close enough to take in some detail, whilst the middle rows E-G in the Center Mezzanine are perfect for a slightly cheaper panoramic angle. In the Balcony, the front row is high but relatively clear, making it an inexpensive good value choice.
The front rows of the Center Orchestra are the most expensive with close and unobstructed views of the stage. Rows A-B of the Center Mezzanine are a bit cheaper, but still premium. Their elevated and expansive sightlines are some of the best views in the Shubert Theatre.
