About the Studio Seaview
Studio Seaview is a brand new Off-Broadway venue in the heart of the Manhattan Theatre District. Placing artist-led work at the heart of its programming, Studio Seaview is a bold new enterprise dedicated to boundary-pushing storytelling in an intimate venue. Formerly the building began life in 1927 as a bank, before being taken over as an Off-Broadway venue by Second Stage Theatre Company in the 1990s, redesigned by Dutch architect Rem Koolhaas and renamed the Tony Kiser Theater. The space has now been extensively refurbished in partnership with Tony-winning scenic designer Scott Pask, lighting designer Brian Tovar, and design collaborators CB2 and Todd Snyder, breathing new life into the historic building with an updated lobby and bar.
Studio Seaview was founded in collaboration with Seaview, LD Entertainment, CPP and No Guarantees, and is operated by production company Seaview, led by founder and CEO Greg Nobile, whose previous works include Sweeney Todd and Hold Onto Me Darling starring Adam Driver.
