How far would you go for love? Step into the Globe’s Sam Wanamaker Playhouse and discover one of Shakespeare’s most desperate, ruthless heroines in All’s Well That Ends Well. Obsession and mind games unfold in this play about a woman who yearns for a husband and vows to win him by any means necessary. Rarely performed compared to some of Shakespeare’s most famous works, this late comedy is reimagined as a pacy thriller this winter.About All’s Well That Ends Well
When Helen cures the dying King, he grants her one wish: choose any man for a husband. There’s one that Helen has always had her eye on, but when she picks him, he cruelly rejects her. But this woman isn’t a quitter and she is determined to have the man of her dreams, no matter what it takes…”Love all, trust a few, do wrong to none.” A noble motto, but how closely will Helena stick to it?
Shakespeare’s All’s Well That Ends Well is one of his later comedies - but like many of his more light-hearted works, a darker undertone and commentary on class, gender and sexuality are just below the surface. It is rarely performed compared to Much Ado About Nothing, The Taming of the Shrew and As You Like It, but this latest revival promises an exhilarating ride through obsession and deception that can easily match any modern romantic thriller.

Good production with some stand out performances. It's one of Shakespeare's problem plays for a reason though and I'm not sure you come out with a firm opinion either way. It's nice to see some of Shakespeare's lesser known plays staged though.
