    Rajeev Goswami brings his vibrant production Beyond Bollywood to the London Palladium, capturing the heat, passion and desire of Indian folk dance. Following Shaily Shergill as she fights to fulfil her mother’s dying wishes, Beyond Bollywood is the ultimate theatrical dance extravaganza.

    Direct from spectacular sell-out performances in Mumbai, Beyond Bollywood blazes into the West End for a limited sixty performances at the London Palladium. A breathtakingly colourful extravaganza, Beyond Bollywood takes audiences on a truly authentic tour of Indian culture, dance and music, engulfing them in the vibrancy and beauty of Bollywood.

    Written, choreographed and directed by Rajeev Goswami, Beyond Bollywood follows Shaily Shergill as she leaves behind her German home to venture to India. On a mission to fulfil her mother’s dying wish of reviving her family’s failing theatre, Beyond Bollywood is an emotional and uplifting tale that brings to the fire, heat and desire of Indian folk dance to the forefront. Will Shaily’s sacrifices be worth it and will she manage to create an unforgettable show?

    Dancer Ana Ilmi stars as Shaily Shergill, alongside Mohit Mather, Pooja Pant, Sudeep Modak, Anson Mathew, Kumar Sharman and Prajakta Gore. Beyond Bollywood features original music and lyrics from spectacular creative talents Salim Sulaiman and Irfan Siddiqui, who combine their skills to create the bright Bollywood soundtrack. The production also features colourful costume by Jennifer Lucien.

    Featuring a myriad of dance styles which can be found throughout India, including ihu, Garba, Kathak, Lezim and Kalbelia, Beyond Bollywood promises to be an entirely unique West End treat. Arriving at the London Palladium after huge success, Beyond Bollywood is an insight into a beautiful culture full of dance, music, love and passion, which makes for the ultimate theatrical experience.
