Location

The Gillian Lynne Theatre is located moments away from Holborn tube station, and close by to several boutiques, bars and restaurants in Covent Garden and Seven Dials. It is easily accessible from a variety of Central London transport links, and is near to the West End’s many tourist attractions, including Leicester Square, Piccadilly Circus, Soho, Chinatown and The Strand. Rail

Charing Cross Station is approximately a 20 minute walk away from the Gillian Lynne Theatre. From the station, exit onto The Strand, cross the road and turn right. Walk along The Strand for about 12 minutes, until you reach Aldwych. Bear left onto Aldwych, passing the Novello Theatre and Aldwych Theatre. Turn left onto Drury Lane and keep walking for 5-7 minutes. The Gillian Lynne Theatre is on your right side, on the corner of Parker Street.

Tube

Covent Garden is the closest tube station to the Gillian Lynne Theatre, served by the Piccadilly line. Upon exiting the station, turn right onto Long Acre and continue until the second road you come to is Drury Lane. Turn left here, and the theatre will be on the corner with the first road on your right.

Holborn tube station is also close to the theatre, served by the Piccadilly and Central lines.

Bus

The nearest bus stops to the theatre are on Kingsway. Bus routes that stop here are: 1, 59, 68, 91, 168, 171, 188, 243 and 521. Routes 8 and 98 also stop near Holborn, with routes 6, 9, 87, 243 and 341 serving Aldwych.

Car

The Gillian Lynne Theatre is part of the Q-Park Theatreland scheme, giving theatre audiences 50% off parking costs. The nearest Q-Park car park to the theatre is in Chinatown, about 7 minutes away. Parking costs £22 for up to 3 hours, and £29.50 for 4 hours.

London’s Congestion Charge Zone covers the whole of the West End and Theatreland. Drivers entering this area between 7am and 6pm must pay a fee of £11.50 per day. Theatre patrons may be dropped off on Drury Lane or Parker Street outside the theatre.
