Her Majesty's Theatre capacity

The Her Majesty's Theatre has a capacity of 1231 seats. Section capacities are 513 Stalls, 285 Royal Circle, 330 Grand Circle and 103 Balcony. Use our interactive seating plan to view 4194 seat reviews and 2078 photos of views from seat.

Each seating block is shallow with partial obstructions from support pillars, rails and overhanging upper levels. Many seats restrict the view of the famous chandelier, so it is worth spending money to be seated in the Stalls for the best view.

Good value seats

The theatre has a number of seats which are ‘restricted view’ due to pillars. Some of these seats however are only slightly restricted, and it is possible to sit in such a way that you have a great view of the stage at a heavily reduced price! Seats throughout the Grand Circle are generally cheaper than other tiers.

Premium seats

The centre of the Stalls is an excellent place to sit for those who like surprises! Equally, sitting towards the front of the Royal Circle guarantees that nothing will be missed.

Comfortable enough aisle seat. Leg room OK for me being 1.7m tall but someone taller may struggle so the aisle will help. This upper circle feels more of a front half of the balcony. You can't see the front of the stage which makes everyone lean forward... More

Excellent legroom, can stretch your legs the whole way out and you won't touch the seat in front. The view is very good (you can see every mini expression on the actors face). Naturally you miss the chandelier rise and the rock in the first act as well... More

Great seat - very near the front, slightly to the side, but that’s fine. You’re close enough to see all the rich detail but far enough away to see the whole stage. Seats aren’t comfy in this theatre but legroom in Row D is fine. Recommended. More
