Aidan Turner and Jenna Coleman star in a West End revival of Sam Steiner’s tender rom-com, set in a world where words are restricted.

A love story with few words

If words were limited, how would you use them? Jenna Coleman and Aidan Turner star in a West End revival of Sam Steiner’s warm and funny rom-com Lemons Lemons Lemons Lemons Lemons at the Harold Pinter Theatre.

When a “hush law” is imposed by the government, everyone has to choose and ration their words much more carefully than before. As couple Oliver and Bernadette navigate this new way of communicating, their relationship is tested. How can they stay together, and what happens when they can’t say anything?

Sam Steiner’s Lemons Lemons Lemons Lemons Lemons play premiered at Warwick Arts Centre in 2015 before enjoying success and critical acclaim at Edinburgh Festival.

It now transfers to the West End starring Aidan Turner (Poldark) and Jenna Coleman (Doctor Who; Victoria), directed by Josie Rourke (Mary Queen of Scots).
