Ian McKellen is giving his best panto dame turn in the hilarious Mother Goose at the Duke of York’s Theatre.Mother Goose and her husband Vic run an Animal Sanctuary for waifs and strays, and live a simple but good life in an abandoned Debenhams. Their charitable nature is soon tested, though, when a magical goose turns up… will their heads be turned by the allure of fame and fortune?

Ian McKellen relishes this performance and looks like he's loving every second. Every innuendo and double entendre - he works so well with John Bishop & Oscar. This tour will blow the socks off anyone who sees it too.
