The Globe Theatre is in London's Bankside district, next to the River Thames. Bankside is home to many cultural attractions including Tate Modern and the Golden Hinde. Keen culture fans can also take a leisurely stroll 15 minutes along the river to the South Bank, home to the Southbank Centre. The closest National Rail stations are Blackfriars (10 minute walk) and London Bridge (15 minute walk). From Blackfriars, take the South Bank exit and walk through the Blackfriars underpass and passage. Turn onto Bankside, past the Tate Modern, to reach the Globe Theatre. Blackfriars station (10 minute walk) is served by the District and Circle lines. Cross the river via Blackfriars passage and turn onto Bankside to reach the theatre.Southwark station (15 minute walk) is on the Jubilee line. Catch the 63 bus to King’s Cross from here and alight at Blackfriars station. It is a 10 minute walk via Bankside to the theatre.

Lots of bus routes, including the 45, 63 and 100, stop at Blackfriars station, which is a 10 minute walk away from the Globe Theatre. Alternatively, theatregoers can catch the 11, 15, 17 or 26 to Mansion House, which is a nine minute walk via Queen Street to the venue.Car
Visitors to the Globe can park at NCP on Thames Exchange. For stays of over 2 hours, prices start at £11.85. Blue badge holders can also park on New Globe Walk and surrounding roads, although spaces here are limited.Most taxis are able to drop visitors off nearby at Southwark Bridge, or outside the foyer on New Globe Walk.
