Shubert Theatre

Broadway’s satirical new comedy introduces us to the seven women tasked with keeping the President of the United States out of trouble.

A hilarious new political comedy

Go behind the scenes of a political nightmare with POTUS: Or, Behind Every Great Dumbass Are Seven Women Trying to Keep Him Alive, a hilarious new satire at the Shubert Theatre.

The President of the United States has just caused a PR nightmare and a global crisis, and it’s up to seven women to risk life, liberty and their own sanity to smooth things over. Step inside 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue and meet the seven women in charge of the leader of the free world.

POTUS is a sharp new comedic play from Tony Award-winning director Susan Stroman (The Scottsboro Boys) and playwright Selina Fillinger, in her Broadway debut. Lilli Cooper, Lea DeLaria, Rachel Dratch, Julianne Hough, Suzy Nakamura, Julie White and Vanessa Williams star as the seven women valiantly trying (and failing) to keep the President out of trouble.

Cast your vote for a hilarious night out with POTUS tickets. This hysterical send up of US politics is riotous, tongue-in-cheek fun.
