Dress Circle Guide
The Dress Circle is the second tier of seating, located directly above the Stalls. With a smaller capacity, the section seats just over 400 people. The widest rows in this section can be found toward the front, with the longest row reaching 50 seats in Row A. The Dress Circle is split into three blocks of seating intersected by two diagonal aisles.
Four Boxes are situated at the rear of the seating, with Box B and C available for access patrons. The Upper Circle overhang begins at around Row C, but has a limited effect on the view in the rear rows, ensuring clear sight-lines throughout the section.
Relatively low safety rails only moderately affect the view from the front of the section. There are two steps between each row in this section.
Slip seats are located to the front left and right of the Dress Circle, overhanging the Stalls on either side. These seats are located in sloped platforms down either side of the Dress Circle balcony, offering mixed and often angled views. There are 15 seats in each platform.
Bars
The Dress Circle Bar is available on this level, and is the main bar that serves the theatre. An at-seat service is available for those who are unable to access the bars or who wish to remain seated during the interval.
Toilets
Women’s and Men’s toilets can be found on this level. Fully adapted accessible toilets for both men and women are available on this level.
