    A Christmas Carol Tickets

Multi-award winning actor Robert Lindsay stars as the miserly Ebenezer Scrooge, in the London Musical Theatre Orchestra’s version of A Christmas Carol. After sold-out performances last year, the production returns, this time to the Lyceum Theatre. Charles Dickens’ well-known story is the perfect treat for anyone who wants a large dose of festive cheer!

Critically acclaimed, multi-award winning actor Robert Lindsay stars as Scrooge in the London Musical Theatre Orchestra’s sell-out, five-star concert production of A Christmas Carol. Following the production’s incredible success at the Lyric Theatre last year, starring Carrie Hope Fletcher, the concert-style musical returns to the West End, playing two performances at the Lyceum Theatre.

Charles Dickens’ classic Christmas story is given the full-on Broadway treatment, transforming the story with a 32-piece orchestra. Featuring a brilliant score by theatre legends Alan Menken (Aladdin, Beauty and the Beast), Lynn Ahrens (Ragtime, Seussical) and Mike Ockrent (Crazy for You, Me and My Girl), A Christmas Carol is revamped into a spectacular musical extravaganza.

The story follows the miserly Ebenezer Scrooge, who hates the festive holidays with a fierce passion. On Christmas Eve, he is visited by four ghosts, all of whom force him to confront his darkest fears. Soon, Scrooge discovers that his life could be a lot different if he spread some Christmas cheer.

Robert Lindsay (My Family, Oliver!) stars as Scrooge, alongside Sophie-Louise Dann (The Girls) as Mrs Fezziwig, Michael Xavier (Sunset Boulevard) as Bob Cratchit, Nicolas Colicos as Mr Fezziwig, Lucie Jones (Legally Blonde) as Emily/The Ghost of Christmas Future, Rebecca Lock as Mrs Cratchit, Hugh Maynard (Miss Saigon) as The Ghost of Christmas Present and Gemma Sutton (The Go-Between) as The Ghost of Christmas Past, alongside Glenn Carter as Marley and Cameron Potts as Fred/Young Ebenezer.

A Christmas Carol is produced by the London Musical Theatre Orchestra, and is directed by Shaun Kerrison and conducted by Freddie Tapner. The production features lighting design by Mike Robertson and sound design by Nick Lidster for Autograph.

Originally running at New York’s Madison Square Garden for 10 consecutive years, the enchanting production sweeps audiences away on a festive journey. Playing two snow-filled performances at London’s Lyceum Theatre, the show runs on the 11 and 18 December 2018.
