Dress Circle Guide
The Dress Circle can feel distant from the stage, as the overhang begins towards the rear of the Stalls. This section is not particularly high and a very shallow rake can create problems for children and smaller audience members, who will find that their view is blocked by heads in front.
The Upper Circle overhang begins at Row D, and has a significant effect on seats towards the rear of the Dress Circle. However there are no safety rails to restrict the view.
Similarly to the Stalls, the section is divided midway by half an aisle, so those who need extra legroom should sit further back in aisle seats. Legroom in this section is particularly poor and gets worse towards the front rows.
Due to the curve of the section, there are a number of restricted view seats towards the ends of the rows, which should be avoided unless discounted. These seats are angled towards the stage, offering a side-view of the action.
Bars
The Dress Circle bar is 30 steps up and has extremely limited seating.
Toilets
Men’s and Women’s toilets are located in the Dress Circle foyer area.
