Venue overview
The Cambridge Theatre is one of the youngest West End venues, situated in the heart of Seven Dials. A smash-hit revival of popular musical Chicago put the Really Useful Group Theatre, later renamed LW Theatres, on the map, with the venue now hosting the long-running Matilda.
An Art Deco ceiling frames the proscenium and can be overshadow the view for some for audience members in the Upper Circle. The auditorium is split across three levels, with no support pillars or obstructive rails to restrict the views. With plush seating and carpeting, the Cambridge Theatre is one of the most comfortable in the West End.
Good value seats
The Upper Circle provides excellent views of the stage, and the front section does not feel as distant from the stage as in other theatres. Aim to sit in the second or third row, as close to the centre as possible for the clearest views. These seats are often discounted to £5 for theatregoers under 25!
Premium seats
Sitting in row B or C of the Dress Circle (for example C18) provides excellent views of both the show and the beautiful theatre itself. Sit in the Stalls for an immersive experience!
