John Tiffany and Jack Thorne’s acclaimed Let the Right One In transfers to the Apollo Theatre for a limited season. A sinister tale of love, loyalty and legend, Let the Right One In blurs the lines between imagination and reality, as two kindred spirits make a connection that leads to inevitable bloodshed.

Following sell-out success at the Royal Court, John Tiffany’s award-winning Let the Right One In transfers to London’s West End for a strictly limited season. Opening at the Apollo Theatre in March 2014, Let the Right One In is the chilling tale of love, loneliness and legend, adapted from John Ajvide Lindqvist’s Swedish horror novel and film.

Adapted for the stage by BAFTA winning Jack Thorne (Skins, This is England ’86), Let the Right One In is set in the Scottish Highlands and follows lonely boy Oskar, who is bullied at school, lives in a broken home and is desperate for friendship. When a series of brutal killings rock the neighbourhood, Oskar attempts to find the perpetrator. Striking up a strange friendship with the mysterious girl from across the street, the pair discover a deep connection that leads to a shocking truth, causing more blood to be spilled on the snowy grounds.

Let the Right One In features Rebecca Benson as Eli, alongside Martin Quinn as Oskar, who both reprise their acclaimed roles from the Royal Court production. Further cast members include Graeme Dalling, Angus Miller, Cristian Ortega and Susan Vidler. Thorne’s adaptation is brought to the stage by Tiffany, a Tony Award-winning director who has brought productions such as Once, Black Watch and The Glass Menagerie to the stage.

A critically acclaimed South Bank Sky Arts award-winning production, Let the Right One In features design by Christine Jones, lighting design by Chahine Yavroyan and sound design by Gareth Fry, with movement direction from Steven Hoggett (Black Watch, American Idiot). A major must-see production that blurs the lines between legend and reality, Let the Right One In is not for the faint-hearted.
