Following her scintillating smash hit Havana Rakatan Cuban choreographer Nilda Guerra serves up another spectacular dance extravaganza in the form of Vamos Cuba returning to the West End this Autumn. The show is set to bring the sizzling Cuban heat back to the dreary London streets with a limited run at the Peacock Theatre, 24 October - 11 November 2017.

Set in the chaotic maelstrom of a bustling Havana airport where old friends, families, strangers and lovers collide Vamos Cuba’s exuberant ensemble explore ancient romances, dreams and longing all to the tune of a thumping Cuban beat. Guerra’s production is a dazzling carnival ride embodying all the joy, drama and passion of island life.

Much like her previous show Guerra masterfully melds modern and traditional dance styles from across the world. The incredible Ana Aylen Salazar and Yoanis Pelaez lead the vibrant troupe of dancers as the show splices salsa with rumba, cha-cha-cha with reggaeton into a dazzling collage of music and movement.

This bold, brash production is accompanied by a bombastic live band directed by Julito Padron. Vamos Cuba’s is a sumptuous feast for the eyes and ears, bristling with character from every sequinned feather.

Don’t miss your chance to see the beautiful, funny, exuberant spectacle from one of Cuba’s most promising choreographers.
