This “brilliant, startling and profound”(New York Magazine) was nominated for a 2014 Pulitzer Prize, and later adapted into an acclaimed film starring John Hamm. 2. Picnic at Hanging Rock: haunting musical adaptation of Aussie classic

This brand new musical adaptation of the haunting, dream-like novel and critically acclaimed film makes its Off-Broadway debut this December at the Greenwich House Theatre. This musical follows a group of girls at an elite Australian college in the 1900s. During a Valentine's Day visit to a local rock formation, three girls vanish without a trace - and those left behind must pick up the pieces. Emmy winners and The Bear stars Jon Bernthal and Ebon Moss-Bachrach star in this brand new adaptation of Dog Day Afternoon, based on a jaw-dropping true story and the Oscar-winning film it inspired.
