Getting into the Venue

Access to Minskoff Theatre is via a pedestrian alleyway between 44th and 45th Streets, which takes patrons through a set of double doors to the lobby and Box Office. From there, escalators and elevators are available up to both the Orchestra and Mezzanine. Members of staff from the theater are able to meet guests in the lobby and escort them to their seats.

Step-free access is available to wheelchair designated seats in the back of the Orchestra or on the Mezzanine. Transfer seats with folding armrests are also available across both levels of seating, although please be advised these are not entirely step-free.

Customer Assistance

Patrons requiring assistance to reach their seats can contact the theater ahead of time to arrange for a representative to meet them in the building’s lobby. From there, they will be escorted to their seats in the Orchestra or Mezzanine.

Two wheelchair accessible unisex restrooms are available at the Minskoff Theatre. One is located on the Orchestra level whilst the second is on the Mezzanine level. Both can be accessed using an elevator in the main lobby which is specifically for patrons with disabilities. Coats can be checked into the cloakroom during winter months. Please be advised that bags or luggage cannot be checked in.

How to Book

For those who require special assistance or wish to book wheelchair spaces, it is important to book in advance and notify the theater of any special requirements. Section Accessibility

Orchestra

The Orchestra can be reached from the main lobby using the escalators or the specially designated elevator for patrons with limited mobility. 12 wheelchair accessible seats are available at the rear of the Orchestra and are entirely step-free. Patrons booking these spaces have the option to book adjacent companion seating. A further 13 aisle transfer seats are located at various points across the Left, Center and Right Orchestra, although these are not step-free; each row has two steps up or down to access seats. Where there are steps, staff may be able to assist.

Mezzanine

The Mezzanine can be reached using escalators, or an elevator for guests using wheelchairs. The section is not entirely step-free, with stepped rows and the rake becoming steeper towards the back. Two wheelchair designated spaces are available in this section, in the Left and Right Mezzanine Boxes. These are adjacent to companion seats and can be accessed step-free. Four aisle transfer seats are also available, located towards the extending sides and middle of the Mezzanine. This area is not step-free, but theater staff are able to assist patrons in reaching their seats from the lobby.
