Getting into the Venue
Step-free and wheelchair access to The Shed is via the Doctoroff Lobby entrance at 30th Street. From here, the Griffin Theater is on level 5 of the building and can be reached by elevator.The Griffin Theater auditorium has level access and there are three wheelchair spaces. One is in Row DD, at the front of the Left block of seating, one in Row AA, facing head-on to the stage in the Center block, and one is in Row N, at the rear of the Center block. A companion seat is next to each wheelchair space. There are steps up and down to other rows, with handrails.
Customer Assistance
Theater ushers can assist with getting into the building, accessing restrooms and reaching your seats. If you are a wheelchair user, let a member of staff know if you wish to transfer into a seat for the performance.Restrooms are located in the Doctoroff Lobby, and there is an accessible restroom one floor down from the Griffin Theater, on level 4.
Coat check is on the Mezzanine level, and items larger than 11 x 17 will need to be checked in.
Cedric’s Bar and eatery is in the lobby, serving refreshments including cocktails before the show. Ushers can assist with ordering drinks and snacks.
