Getting into the Venue
The Ed Mirvish Theatre is situated on Victoria Street and is step-free through double-doors. Once inside, there are steps to reach the Orchestra, Mezzanine and facilities. Alternatively, an elevator/wheelchair lift is available to take patrons from the street to Orchestra level. Inside measurements for the EMT wheelchair lift are 29.5" wide x 60.25" long.Further entrances into the theatre are available on Yonge Street, all of which require steps. Those who have difficulty with stairs should enter the building via the Victoria Street entrance. Once inside the Orchestra, there are no steps to the seating.
The Mezzanine has no elevator facility and must be accessed by stairs. It is inaccessible for wheelchair patrons. All steps are highlighted with handrails in place.
Customer Assistance
Staff are available for patrons who require assistance. Those who wish to transfer into assisted seating or wheelchair seats are advised to bring a support person, however staff are also trained to assist patrons.The Ed & Anne Mirvish Suite is available to hire, located beneath the auditorium and including a private entrance from Victoria Street and the Orchestra. Accommodating up to 30 people, the suite includes a private restroom, bar and complimentary coat check.
The Yonge Street Gallery can be hired for special occasions with up to 150 attendees. Located between the Yonge Street entrance and Mezzanine, this space includes a bar service and can be used as a semi-private event during intermission only.
A coat check is located on Mezzanine level, for a cost of $2.50.

Section Accessibility
Orchestra
The Orchestra is step-free from street level via the Victoria Street entrance to the theatre, which provides an elevator/wheelchair lift that takes patrons to the Orchestra Lobby and seating.
Once inside the auditorium, there is a gradual rake and no steps to reach wheelchair spaces and assisted seating, which can be found in Row W, and at the ends of Row J, L, N, P, U and V. All seats allow for a support person to be seated nearby.
Legroom is good throughout the Orchestra, with extra space available in Row A and in aisle seats.
Mezzanine
The Mezzanine is located several steps up from street level. Once inside the Mezzanine, there are steps to reach each row. All steps are highlighted with handrails in place.
This section is not suitable for wheelchair patrons.
Extra legroom can be found in the movable Box seats and any aisle seats.
